Trying to Conceive, Cuba Untuk Mengandung

I was worried when we entered 11th month of our marriage without getting pregnant. Some people might think that it's still early but yeah... I figured well, why not just go for some tests. If things are fine then we can wait a little longer but if not then we can tackle it early. Yes, I know I'm the impatient type.

So off we went to see a gynae for further examination. It turned out that I'd a little blockage at 1 side of my fallopian tube but the other one is fine. We also went to several other gynecologists to get second opinion and also undergo other tests. And it seems besides the fallopion tube blockage, I also  have PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome).
One thing that I learn here is do not rush into any fertility treatment suggested by any specialist without checking out what it is all about, ourselves. If we don't feel comfortable with it, find out the alternatives.

One of the specialist suggested that I got a 'hydrotubation' without telling me that I have several other alternatives. It turns out that it's a low cost outdated treatment with little chance of success. Yes, I want to save some bucks here but what's the point if the chance of success is extremely low to nil (belum tambah sakit lagi... nangis). Ye, kita ni orang biasa-biasa & most of the time kena ikut cakap doktor especially kalau die pakar tapi please get second opinion from other specialist.

A more trustworthy specialist suggested laproscopy. It has higher chance of success but not without risk. However upon researching about laproscopy, I stumbled upon Chinese Acupuncture. Even some of laproscopy expert says that Chinese Acupuncture is the best alternative to laproscopy to handle PCOS problem. The former also has higher success rate and there no risk of scarring (scarring from laproscopy can result in even more difficulties in conceiving).

Nak kena ke China ke nak buat acupuncture ni? Oh tidak ... fortunately Malaysia have it all & we stumbled upon this place.

Let me warn you though, do not be discouraged by their lack of professionalisme. If you want to do fertility treatment, ask for Sifu Teow (016-6597804/013-4952118). Again, if you are like me who's gotten to know all the scientifics of fertility problems in modern medication, please also do not judge the sifu too soon if he appears to not understand what the heck you are talking about. It happened to me but I chose to be open minded for this purpose and decided to go along with him.

I got pregnant after 4 months of treatment. I also recommended him to my friend with endometriosis stage 3 (with only IVF as a hope according to her specialist) and she's now pregnant with her second child. My husband also recommended Sifu to his 2 of his friends and one of the couples got pregnant. The other just couldn't go through the treatment due to their lack of faith & dislike for Chinese herbs. Yeah... I know, it's damn bitter! Tapi bertabah lah ... lagi pon rasa energy lepas minum ubat ni memang best. :)

The stark difference between modern treatment and Chinese Acupuncture is our menstruation cycle. The former will make it goes haywire (& they'll say it's normal) tapi acupuncture will make 'lebih teratur', cantik. That was also one of the reason for me to hang on.

I'm not implying that Sifu Teow is the reason I got pregnant. Semuanya atas kekuasaan Allah. I trust that Allah will grant us with a child if we begged Him everyday. Sifu Teow was only the medium (an expert one at it). He also asked us to pray hard even though he's not a muslim.

What if you are told that you had a 'Saka'? I was told the same thing too. I do not know whether to believe it or not. What I know if it's there I don't want to see it. Yes we also went for Malay massage, 'berubat with ustaz' and try supplements made especially for those who want to conceive. Entahlah, rasanya saka ni memang wujud tapi janganlah percaya 100% kat sesiapa pon hatta bergelar 'ustaz' sebab sometimes mane lah tahu sebenarnye bomoh tapi berimejkan ustaz, siapa tahu. & even kalau betul ustaz pon. Yang kita harus minta, pada Allah. Don't listen to anyone else

So if you are trying to conceive, good luck!

P/S: I just learned this morning that Eca was being nicknamed 'adik Sin Chan'. Yeah, she's one mischievious little darling; she makes us flopped tired and keeps us smiling to our ears all the time.

Refreshing Swedish White Heirloom Apartment

An eye candy. Based on the layout of this apartment, guess the size of this apartment is around 675 sq feet. I really have a thing for small apartment with great interior. It looks airy, roomy and practical all at the same time!

Since the apartments in Kuala Lumpur are getting even more pricier & smaller everyday, this could be a great inspiration to the likes of us. Feeling a bit relieved looking at these photos knowing the are ways in making small apartment as cozy and as chic as the bigger and extremely expensive condos. :)
